Lazers Soccer Club History

Peachtree City Youth Soccer Association was founded in 1983. The first fields used were Picnic Park, two small fields at Glenloch, and Drake Field.

Meade Complex opened in the late 1980’s. In the summer of 1993, a bond referendum passed to build the Baseball Soccer Complex. After two years of construction, PTCYSA started to use BSC in 1995. Peachtree City Lazers started play in 1995-1996.

In the summer of 2008, Peachtree City Youth Soccer Association went through a transition and the select and recreation programs are now operated under Peachtree City Lazers Soccer Club. The programs are separated by the titles AFC Lightning, Lazers Recreation, Little Lazers, and Peachtree City Lazers 7v7 Adult Soccer League.
