Esmond is has worked for Peachtree City Lazers since July 2006 and currently serves as the Executive Director for the club. 

Esmond served as the Director of Operations and staff coach for AFC Lightning and Peachtree City Lazers since July 2006 through June 2011.  During this time he oversaw the rebranding of Peachtree City Lazers, directed the procedure construction and reorganization of the merger between AFC Lightning and Peachtree City Lazers, and recently created the 7v7 Adult Soccer League.

Esmond moved to Peachtree City in July of 2006, after serving five years with the United Soccer Leagues, as the Super Y-League and Super-20 League Director of Operations in Tampa, FL.

As the Director of Operations of the Super Y-League, Esmond’s duties included scheduling, website administration, referee assignment, event management and league discipline for the 800-team North American youth soccer league.  Esmond was the Event Director of five SYL North American Finals, 14 Super Y-League ODP National camps, and a dozen regional scheduling meetings.  Esmond was named United Soccer Leagues Employee of the Year in 2005.

Esmond has coached various ages from U9 - U17 Select along with training all ages on the recreation side.  Esmond currently holds the USSF National “C” License and the USSF National Youth License.

In his personal life, Esmond enjoys watching sports, fantasy football and baseball, music, movies, and reading books on musicians, athletes, and his favorite writers. His favorite sports teams include the Duke Blue Devils, Cleveland Indians, Manchester United, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Esmond is a 2000 graduate of Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Sport Management. Esmond is a native of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania and currently resides with his wife Tonya, son Ryan, and their dog Ally in Senoia, GA.
